Posavina County is the second of 10 counties/cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is composed of the municipalities of Orašje, Odžak and Domaljevac-Šamac. Due to the area in which it is located, along the border with the Republic of Croatia, and an interesting historical story, it has remained marked by a special cultural, traditional and artistic heritage that form an important part of the identity of the Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are several events in Posavina that nurture the original folklore heritage as well as a number of cultural manifestations. Nevertheless, without a clear strategy of cultural and creative development, the potential positive effects, reflected in the development of a more comfortable living environment, the revitalization of the economy and the reduction of unemployment, are absent. The aim of the project is to strengthen and grow cultural activity within the Posavina County in order to improve the quality of life of its citizens, contributed to regional development and ensure international recognition.
